High-Speed DMD Motion Control
The DMD drive system is designed to provide a wide speed-control range, high angular acceleration and responsive movement in a compact mechanism. Closed-loop speed and position control help the pan-tilt unit move smoothly between observation points while maintaining repeatable positioning during remote operation.
A position-locking function allows the unit to recover its commanded position after an external force causes displacement. Optional absolute or relative angle sensors can provide position feedback for OEM control software, preset patrol routes and automated inspection workflows.
T-type dual-side payload structure for balanced sensor installation.
Pan rotation of 360° continuously with a tilt range of ±90°.
Pan speed up to 100°/s and tilt speed up to 80°/s.
Low standby and operating power consumption for mobile platforms.
RS485 or RS422 control interfaces with Pelco-D protocol support.
Industrial EMC, ESD and Surge Protection
According to the supplied JEC technical documentation, the platform has undergone electrostatic discharge, radiated-immunity and surge testing for demanding electrical environments. These capabilities are relevant when the pan-tilt unit is integrated into outdoor equipment, utility inspection systems, vehicle-mounted platforms or installations with long power and communication cable runs.
Test standard
Reported level
Reported result
GB/T 17626.2
Level 4
Contact discharge up to 10 kV; performance criterion A reported.
GB/T 17626.3
Class B reported
Radiated-immunity testing reported in the supplied documentation.
GB/T 17626.5
Level 4
Up to 3 kV differential mode and 6 kV common mode; performance criterion B reported.
Test conditions and applicability may vary with connector, cable, power and payload configuration. Request the current model-specific test reports from JEC before using these values in a compliance submission.
Flexible Payload and OEM Integration
The rated payload must include the camera, thermal module, housing, mounting plate, connectors and all moving cable components. Payload weight alone is not sufficient for model selection. The center of gravity, moment arm, cable torque, wind area, vibration level, mounting direction and required acceleration can all affect positioning performance and service life.
Optional cabin functions may include automatic wipers, auxiliary lighting, edge computing, GPS, gyroscope and 4G communication modules. Final module availability and enclosure layout should be confirmed for each customized configuration.
Applications
Inspection Robot Vision Sensing: Position compact visible, thermal and inspection sensors for factory patrol and equipment observation.
Vehicle-Mounted Rapid Deployment: Support temporary monitoring and mobile security systems after mounting and vibration review.
Compact EO/IR Payload Integration: Carry lightweight visible, thermal or dual-sensor modules in customized OEM systems.
Power Utility Infrastructure Inspection: Support observation of transmission lines, towers and substations from outdoor inspection equipment.
Multi-Sensor Deployment References
