Compact 5 kg PTU for Camera and Sensor Integration
The JEC-PTU-1205 is a compact motorized pan-tilt unit designed for system integrators and OEM projects that require a configurable motion platform rather than a fixed camera system.
Its 5 kg payload class makes it suitable for compact visible cameras, thermal imagers, dual-sensor housings and other lightweight industrial sensors. For final selection, payload dimensions and center of gravity should be evaluated together with total weight.
Brushless Motor and Absolute Position Feedback
The PTU uses a brushless DC motor with precision gear transmission for low-power, reliable motion control.
A digital absolute position encoder provides position feedback without relying only on repeated homing after every power cycle. Up to 255 preset positions can be configured for patrol, inspection and recurring observation tasks.
Built for Outdoor Monitoring
The high-strength aluminium-alloy housing is designed for outdoor operation and environmental protection.
With IP66 protection and low-temperature start-up capability, the JEC-PTU-1205 can be used in remote monitoring, infrastructure inspection and unattended outdoor installations.
For coastal, high-salinity or highly corrosive environments, additional surface treatment and sealing options should be reviewed according to project conditions.
Control and OEM Integration
RS485, RS422 and network communication options allow the PTU to integrate with camera controllers, thermal imaging systems, industrial computers and customer-developed control software.
Pelco-D is available as the standard control protocol. Mechanical mounting interfaces, wiring and communication requirements can also be reviewed for OEM/ODM projects.
