The JEC-PTU-Dragonfly Series is a high-speed direct-drive pan-tilt unit developed for dynamic target observation, mobile surveillance platforms and compact multi-sensor integration.

Built around a torque-motor direct-drive architecture, the PTU provides rapid acceleration, smooth low-speed motion and precise position feedback without relying on a conventional multi-stage mechanical transmission. It can be configured to carry visible cameras, thermal imaging modules, laser ranging devices, AI computing units and other project-specific sensors.

With continuous 360° pan rotation, ±90° tilt coverage, positioning accuracy below 0.05°, IP66 environmental protection and low PTU power consumption, the Dragonfly platform is suitable for unmanned vehicles, unmanned surface vessels, mobile observation systems, robot inspection and intelligent target-tracking projects.

High-Speed Direct-Drive Platform

The JEC-PTU-Dragonfly Series uses torque-motor direct drive to achieve responsive motion without the backlash associated with conventional multi-stage gear transmission. Maximum pan acceleration reaches 300°/s², while maximum tilt acceleration reaches 240°/s².

This dynamic performance allows the platform to respond rapidly when a target changes direction or when the PTU receives new coordinates from an external tracking or command system.
