High-Speed Direct-Drive Platform
The JEC-PTU-Dragonfly Series uses torque-motor direct drive to achieve responsive motion without the backlash associated with conventional multi-stage gear transmission. Maximum pan acceleration reaches 300°/s², while maximum tilt acceleration reaches 240°/s².
This dynamic performance allows the platform to respond rapidly when a target changes direction or when the PTU receives new coordinates from an external tracking or command system.
Multi-Sensor Payload Configuration
The Dragonfly platform can be adapted for different combinations of:

- Thermal imaging modules

Positioning and Tracking Integration
The PTU supports RS485 and RS422 communication with the PELCO-D protocol as the standard control method. Project-specific integration with radar, AI tracking software, command platforms or customer control systems can be evaluated according to the required communication workflow.
Standard positioning performance supports preset recall, coordinate-based pointing and continuous target observation. AI tracking, radar linkage and stabilization functions should be confirmed as separate project configurations.

The direct-drive architecture, low power consumption and compact integrated form make the Dragonfly Series suitable for:

Environmental Protection
The standard platform supports operation from -40°C to +60°C and relative humidity up to 95%. IP66 protection and surge-resistant power design help protect the system during outdoor deployment.
The final environmental rating of the complete system depends on the selected payload housing, connectors, windows, cable interfaces and integrated devices.
